If you have been an employee of a company for a number of years, then you have likely witnessed different types of techniques used by the company. Here are some of the more popular case studies:Reputation: Your job at work is to build your reputation. You might be a trustworthy person or you might be someone who is really difficult to work with. In case study psychology, one type of technique that can help you build your reputation is called 'dishonesty.'If you have recently had a bad day at work, it is probably because you told someone who was negative ideas about yourself. In case study psychology, a technique known as 'reciprocity' helps you 'pay back' the person who made the negative comments about you. In other words, you work to improve your reputation.Stress: Stress can cause an upset in your body. He or she might want to get rid of the new member before it gets too painful for the family. This technique can be very helpful if a couple has recently moved into a house together and wants to prevent the stress from overwhelming them.An individual who does not have a short attention span is unlikely to think clearly. In case study psychology, a technique known as 'transference' can help the individual by al lowing him or her to feel emotionally detached. This separation will allow the individual to think more rationally.
